Did you know there are 500+ independent dog shelters across the UK? Places full of brave, brilliant dogs. Run by brave, brilliant people who strive to find their forever homes: from deaf Rottweilers to Romania’s strays.
Yet, without big names and marketing budgets, these shelters are often overlooked by donors.
Many struggle to afford healthy food for their dogs. The kind of meals which could set them up for life and boosts their chances of a happily ever after. That’s where Paws comes in.
With every Paws order, you feed a dog at one of our handpicked partner shelters. We supply them with our own brand of food, Canine Choice, for free all year round. Delivered in advance, in predictable bundles, the way that works best for them.
So by choosing meat-first, all-natural food for your dog, you're giving a meat-first, all-natural meal to a less fortunate pup too.
Buy Food, Give Food is just the first step in our mission to tackle pet abandonment.
Your orders feed dogs in shelters great food so they thrive, have a more comfortable life and the best chance of a happily ever after.
We support shelters to raise awareness of animals that need love, running activities like social media training to help them reach adopters.
To prevent pet abandonment, we’re helping pet parents be the best they can and raising awareness of the serious commitment pets require.
Rottweilers have a lot of health issues with cruciates and hips. By feeding our pups Canine Choice, we are keeping our Rotties happy, healthy & their coats wonderfully shiny!

We've spent many years helping stray dogs and finding an organisation to support our cause was always a battle. Paws has made a wonderful difference to the work that we do.

Being a small, self funded organisation, Lurcher Link sometimes struggles to find enough money to finance emergency vet bills, which can quickly run into thousands of pounds. Having Paws helping us out with our food means one less thing to worry about.

We love staying close to our Buy Food Give Food alumni pups, whose rehoming tales inspire us all.
We adopted Vinnie in September 2018 from Walkers Creek Rescue. He was malnourished, underweight and pretty scared of life. 12 weeks on and he’s nearly doubled in weight and is so much more confident and happy. My other dog Della got a taste of his food and refused to eat her usual food so she is now loving the Paws diet too!

We adopted Ted from Lee and Claire at Walkers Creek rescue about 4 months ago. He was very terrified of the lead when he first came to us, but now he's beaming out the door with his little happy dance to go out and venture into the world! He loves to run around at the park, and snuggle up with us on the sofa. (he also thinks he is a very small lap dog and tries to sit on our laps!) He's such a beautiful soul and we couldn't imagine life without him!
Tanja & Rob Von Bank
Heidi came over from Ireland with a large number of other dogs going to rescues. At just 10 months old she was a sweet natured but worried pup. She is very bright and loved training and confidence building games at rescue. She has gone to live with new brother Ted a Bedlington Terrier who was very sad after his Rottie brother passed away. New owners say it's like she has always been there as settled so well. She and Ted are best friends and he is happy again!
